Kristina has been traipsing along the Bartram Trail since moving to Franklin from the Chicago area in 1993. Her family settled in the Cartoogechaye community, so the Bartram Trail was probably one of the first places she explored in WNC. Her work at the Macon County Public Library gives her the opportunity to host botany, history, art and author events, so joining the board has helped foster a fun, ongoing partnership between the library and BRBTC. Some of her favorite Bartram involvements include helping bring the Smithsonian Water|Ways traveling exhibition to Franklin, arranging art for the Bartram Reimagined show, welcoming her retired boss to the board, and hosting the Public Lands Corps young adults in her home. Kristina lives in the Carson community with her dog, Mazzy.
